60% of people in Suriname live below the poverty line, facing social problems related to housing, education and health.

Naturally, children are the worst-affected. Many experience severe neglect and physical and sexual abuse. Poverty means parents are faced with the choice of feeding their children or sending them to school. These vulnerable children are targeted by criminals and frequently enter a life of crime at an early age.

Your support will provide a ‘Kids Fun Day’ where these children can have fun, hear the Gospel message and take home a Scripture portion. Your gift will also help fund on-going Kids Club or Sunday School programmes and full Bibles that can be given away.
